Job Title: Firefighter Paramedic

Job Summary:

The Firefighter Paramedic is a critical member of our team, responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care, and fighting fires. This role requires a unique blend of firefighting and emergency medical skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls, including medical emergencies, fires, and other incidents
  • Provide advanced life support care, including administering medications and performing procedures
  • Operate firefighting equipment, including engines, trucks, and rescue vehicles
  • Participate in fire prevention and education programs
  • Collaborate with other emergency responders, including police and ambulance services
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid California State Paramedic license or National Registry EMT-Paramedic certification required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to pass a physical fitness test and background investigation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
