Paramedic Emergency Department Specialist

The Medical Center of Aurora is seeking a dedicated Paramedic ED to join our team. As a Paramedic ED, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively.
- Provide services that are within the scope of the ED Medic's Colorado Paramedic Certification without physician supervision and direction.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Current certification in the State of Colorado as a Paramedic.
- NREMT P preferred.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention/Advanced CPI certification required.
- Successful completion of EMS course.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic or EMT with an EMS agency, and/or any type of clinical experience working in a hospital.
