We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Transylvania Regional Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family members.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- One year of hospital nursing experience preferred.
