The Registered Respiratory Therapist will partner with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care and outcomes in a thriving culture of learning and advancement. This role requires leveraging various scientific values, therapies, and techniques to optimize patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Performs and directs the administration of respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, invasive and non-invasive ventilation, and bedside spirometry.
- Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
- Adheres to established policies, including infection control and isolation policies, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media.
- Performs willingly and professionally with peers and patients to maintain a positive work environment and outcomes.
- Embraces the autonomy to grow and enhance skills to accomplish professional and technical requirements.
- Focusing on continuous quality improvement in all aspects of clinical care, identifying, executing, and sharing opportunities to improve patient care.
- General knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
- Able to read, write, and follow flow chart protocols as appropriate.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- General computer skills, including data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email.
- EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS), Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
