Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Spencer Construction. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Perform repairs and replacements of vehicle parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and wheel balancing
  • Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure proper functioning
  • Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Construction Equipment Mechanic

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
