Main Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood samples from clients using vacuum tube or butterfly venipuncture methods
  • Greet clients, explain services, and verify ID/insurance
  • Set up and break down on-site wellness stations
  • Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes
  • Prepare documents and specimens for laboratory pick up
  • Drive to one job site per day, starting between 5AM and 7AM
Job Description:

The Traveling Phlebotomist is a medical professional who provides on-site phlebotomy services to clients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Obtaining blood samples ordered by licensed healthcare providers
  • Labeling specimen collection tubes with patient names
  • Preparing and spinning specimens
  • Preparing patient paperwork for documentation
  • Submitting specimens for processing

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a professional image. As a team member, the Traveling Phlebotomist will play a key role in contributing to the company's mission and strategic plan.
