Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

This is a travel Respiratory Therapist position in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience and be certified/registered as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT). The position offers a competitive pay rate, travel reimbursement, and per diem allowances.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care and treatment as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans to meet patient needs
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • At least 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) licensure in the applicable state (MI)
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS for Healthcare Providers certification
  • Additional certifications may be required
