Job Summary

As a Master Machinist at Ebara Elliott Energy, you will be responsible for performing complex setups and machining operations on a variety of machine tools. This role requires advanced knowledge of machine equipment and machining operations, as well as the ability to work to extremely close tolerances.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform most complex setups and machine tool operations, including turning, boring, facing, milling, drilling, reaming, tapping, sawing, slotting, grooving, and grinding.
• Read and comprehend drawings, sketches, job scopes, and verbal instructions to plan and execute machining operations.
• Maintain equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements and notifying the appropriate representative for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Accurately measure and record all dimensional inspections as needed and pass annual dimensional inspection tests.
• Train other employees in operation of equipment, reading prints, selection of tooling and machining equipment, along with repair processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• 5-8 years' experience with rotating turbo machinery
• Advanced rigging capabilities
• Advanced machining capabilities on manual lathes
• Experiences with turbines, compressors, and other rotating equipment
