Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer / Data Scientist to play a critical role in enhancing our data capabilities. This position requires a unique combination of analytical, technical, and communication skills, along with a strong background in life sciences data.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and schemas that support data analysis and reporting needs.
- Identify opportunities to enrich our dataset with additional sources of information, improving the comprehensiveness and value of our data assets.
- Implement robust data cleansing processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of our datasets.
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines that support the ingestion, transformation, and storage of large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Engineer, preferably in the life sciences, healthcare, or related sectors.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Amazon Redshift or similar data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with data modeling, data cleansing, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
- Competitive salary range: $120,000 - $140,000.
