We are seeking a skilled RN Unit Manager to join our team at Elderwood at Ticonderoga. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents and leading our team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure the unit environment is maintained in a safe and clean manner, promoting the well-being of staff and residents.
- Attend meetings and in-service training as required by the Administrator and Director of Nursing.
- Generate ideas to improve resident care and increase job productivity and satisfaction.
- Encourage staff involvement and recognize exceptional contributions.
- State license in applicable state and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a leadership role.
- Interest or experience in geriatrics.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Experience with dementia population is desirable.
