Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical direction and oversight for electrical utilities across all Northwest Naval Installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide recommendations for electrical engineering studies
  • Review and evaluate the status of current methods, technicians, and systems in the electrical utility
  • Oversee preparation of utility contract modifications and participate in the negotiation process
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in providing policy and technical direction for engineers and other professionals. You will also need to have excellent communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

GS-12: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level.

GS-13: A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, with at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level.
