Join Our Team as a Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Optum. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout the procedure to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all necessary steps are taken to ensure a successful outcome for the patient.
  • Participate in the selection and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of surgical procedures and protocols to ensure that you are prepared to assist the surgical team as needed.
Requirements:
  • Current WA State Surgical Technologist Registration (ST)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technologists
  • Current ORT (Operating Room Technician) certification
