About the Job:
As a Senior Security Professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a continuously growing and complex security-minded and mission-oriented environment. You will be responsible for tracking investigation due dates for command military and civilian personnel and initiating investigations using the Office of Personnel Management's e-QIP or subsequent DoD system (i.e. NBIS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Process security clearance investigation requests for COMNAVAIRLANT staff personnel.
- Track investigation due dates and initiate investigations using e-QIP or NBIS.
- Review completed investigation requests for accuracy and completeness.
- Reset applicant accounts and assist applicants with access issues.
- Maintain claimancy account records and ensure user accounts are purged when no longer needed.
Requirements:
You must have extensive knowledge of U.S. Navy and Intelligence Community policies and programs, including DISS, ICD Number 705, Department of Defense Manual 5105.21, and Secretary of the Navy Instruction 5510.30.
