Lead Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Radiology Technologist to join our team at Brown University Health. In this role, you will play a key part in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our interventional radiology services.
Job SummaryThe Lead Radiology Technologist is responsible for directing, coordinating, and monitoring the daily activities of interventional radiology services. This includes assuming a lead role relative to interventional radiology, including but not limited to directing patient scheduling, inventory maintenance, protocol development, assisting in quality initiatives, and performing interventional procedures.

- Assumes a lead role relative to interventional radiology, including but not limited to directing patient scheduling, inventory maintenance, protocol development, assisting in quality initiatives.
- Performs interventional procedures, including carotid and run-off arteriograms, and other procedures of similar complexity.
- May provide services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- High school graduation or equivalent and satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training of two years duration.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered and licensed by the State of Rhode Island.
- At least 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist in interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology.
- Current CPR certification.
The ideal candidate must be able to stand/walk 3-7 hours, squat 1-3 hours per day with frequent bending and twisting, and lift 10-35 lbs with good body mechanics. They must also be able to use both hands/wrists with extensive deviation and frequent fine motor movement with repetition, have near/far vision accurate at 20/40, moderate depth perception, minimal color discrimination, and hear whisper at three feet.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
