We're seeking an experienced Medical Equipment Technician to join our team at Legent Health. With a strong focus on patient care and safety, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the highest standards of medical equipment management.

About the Role

The Medical Equipment Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, and sterilization of medical equipment, instruments, and supplies. This includes monitoring biological and chemical wash solution quality, restocking and labeling inventory, and performing environmental maintenance duties.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain biological and chemical wash solution quality
  • Restock, label, and maintain inventory levels of medical equipment and supplies
  • Perform environmental maintenance duties and assist in maintaining inventory levels in sterile processing areas
  • Verify equipment functionality and requisition maintenance, repair, or replacement as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Current and valid sterile processing technician certification required or equivalent experience
  • 2 years' experience as a Sterile Processing Tech required
  • Current and active CPR certification
Compensation
  • Competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year
