We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Technician to join our team at Harlan Bakeries. As a key member of our sanitation team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our food processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including the pan washer and other machinery
  • Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and building surfaces
  • Identify and address equipment in need of deep cleaning or repair
  • Use chemicals safely and effectively to perform cleaning tasks
  • Perform basic janitorial duties, including emptying garbage, sweeping, and stocking supplies
  • Report any safety, food safety, or quality concerns to management
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in a food plant as a sanitation technician or similar role
  • Basic knowledge of pre-rinse/wash/rinse/sanitize steps and top-down washing sequence
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders and scissor-lifts
  • Ability to prioritize work and work independently with minimal supervision
