We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated healthcare professional to join our team as a travel nurse RN in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a top-rated facility in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessing their conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent required; master's degree in nursing (MSN) or higher preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana.
- At least 1 year of experience in critical care nursing, preferably in a PCU setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as pharmacology and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
