Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at JAG Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses, devising creative and effective treatment plans, and implementing a high-energy, positive-thinking environment to aid patients in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine patients using fundamental clinical knowledge and implement a treatment plan
  • Execute plan of care on a daily basis, utilizing training and skills to aid patients in healing, recovering, improving pain level/tolerance, and maximizing functional independence
  • Collect and record patient care data, following format and guidelines of the patient care service, regulatory agencies, and third-party payers
  • Prepare for evaluations in accordance with department policies/procedures and standards of practice, including obtaining patient history and researching unfamiliar diagnoses
  • Identify need for consultations and/or refer patients to another healthcare professional or healthcare services
  • Provide education/training to patients and/or patient support systems
  • Oversee support staff of PTA, ATC, PT aides
  • Attend annual JAG Billing and Coding seminar
  • Promote JAG in the community through lectures/presentations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree required, Doctorate degree preferred
  • Experience/knowledge with an EMR software is preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
