Job Title: Chemical Manufacturing Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Manufacturing Technician to join our team at Sierra Proto Express. In this role, you will be responsible for processing orders through various process steps, including copper, acid/tin plate, and associated cleaning steps.

About the Job

• This is a day shift position that requires standing and walking throughout the day.
• You will be working in a fast-paced environment with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds maximum.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
• The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in plating for PCB manufacturing companies.

Responsibilities

• Process orders through numerous process steps.
• Copper, Acid/Tin Plate, and all associated cleaning steps.
• Resist Strip, Copper Etch, Solder Strip.
• Electroless Copper.
• Nickel, Soft Gold, Hard Gold, and all associated cleaning steps.
• CMI Reading.
• Performing Process Analysis Logs (PAL) through TrueChem system.
• Chemical Preventative Maintenance.
• Provide product and process support by routine inspection of product, equipment, processes, and supplies.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical work instructions.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as gloves, protective glasses, face-shields, aprons, rubber boots, etc.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn new skills and tasks as required.
• Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment.
