Job Overview

Get Fresh Produce operates within a collaborative network of fresh food suppliers dedicated to delivering an exceptional variety and service across multiple regions through various facilities and refrigerated storage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify invoices through a three-way match process and secure necessary approvals as required.
  • Assign invoices to the correct General Ledger accounts.
  • Support procurement personnel with invoice reconciliation tasks.
  • Facilitate check runs and ACH transactions while obtaining necessary approvals according to the authorization matrix.
  • Match check copies to invoices for scanning purposes when necessary.
  • Engage with vendors to resolve issues related to late payments or discrepancies.
  • Oversee vendor accounts for updates on credit, address changes, and onboarding of new vendors.
  • Review bank positive pay reports.
  • Generate reports for un-invoiced receipts and collaborate with buyers for resolution or invoice acquisition.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager in the preparation of 1099 forms.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of a two-year degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with common email systems.
  • Possession of valid identification or driver's license as applicable.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Resourceful and capable of independent problem-solving.
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
