Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Operations Manager to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a key leader, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities of customer service employees, managing store operations, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role:

  • Manage Store Operations: Independently oversee store operations between daytime and nighttime hours, acting as a key liaison among teams and various departments throughout the store.
  • Partnership with Department Management: Collaborate with department management to prioritize and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient Front End/customer checkout operations.
  • Team Performance Management: Manage performance of a team of Customer Service employees, providing resources, training, feedback, and development opportunities.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide incredible customer service to customers and employees alike, championing our values and standards.
  • Situational Leadership: React quickly to situations that arise, partnering with store leadership to problem-solve operational challenges.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in food service, grocery, or retail.
  • Multi-Tasking and Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and software applications.
