We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Principal Materials Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, testing, and analyzing eVinci high temperature reactor components made from advanced materials such as graphite and carbon-ceramic-matrix composites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions for eVinci Micro-Reactor components.
  • Provide expert guidance on design concerns and radiation effects related to graphite and/or carbon composites.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subsystems and resolve emergent design issues.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Lead complex technical projects, driving results-oriented teams to meet project objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in materials engineering (Bachelor's or Master's in mechanical is acceptable, but at least one materials eng degree).
  • 5-10+ years of experience in the nuclear (or similar) industry.
  • Familiarity with material requirements related to ASME Section III components.
