Ambulatory Mental Health Specialist

Responsibilities- Manage an independent ambulatory case load of patients.
- Provide clinical patient care hours per week, face-to-face with patients either in-office or via virtual visit.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in coordination with patients.
- Provide individual, group, family, couples, and crisis counseling as needed.
- Coordinate higher levels of care for patients with severe mental health conditions, substance use disorders, etc.
- Offer patient resources to support mental health needs.
- Document patient care thoroughly and accurately to support clinical diagnoses and billing.
- Maintain liaison relationships with patients, families, community support workers, and facilities to obtain necessary information.
- Provide continuing education to residents and professionals from other disciplines.
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S) certification.
- No record of substantiated ethics or patient abuse reports.
- Three years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with comprehensive knowledge of current psychotherapeutic techniques, theories, and practices.
- Competitive salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
