About You

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Floor Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, including offices, resident rooms, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells, and other public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of hard surfaces and carpeted areas, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, including policing grounds and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
  • Utilize protective gear and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report equipment and cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.
