Healthcare Operations Management

At Syntricate Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Traveling Nurse Leader to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will be responsible for guiding, directing, and motivating subordinate staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your expertise in nursing techniques, policies, and procedures will be essential in supervising the application of care and treatment plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for advising subordinate staff on policies and procedures, observing employees to ensure efficiency in work activities, and identifying exceptional performance characteristics through employee discussions and personal observations. You will also be responsible for resolving disputes among employees, implementing corrective measures for inappropriate actions, and participating in emergency response settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the application of nursing techniques required in care and treatment of patients.
  • Advises subordinate staff in policies and procedures.
  • Observes employees as they perform tasks to ensure efficiency in work activities.
  • Identifies exceptional performance characteristics through employee discussions and personal observations.
  • Discusses methods to improve performance and motivate employees.
  • Resolves disputes among employees following organizational policies and procedures.
  • Implements corrective measures to staff for inappropriate actions.
  • Participates in emergency response settings.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of accepted nursing practices and techniques.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, policies, procedures, agency administrative directives, regulations, and rules.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to assess and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities.
  • Knowledge of human behavior and performance.

Skills:
  • Application of complex professional nursing techniques.
  • Critical thinking techniques to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
  • Understanding of implications of new information for problem-solving and decision-making.
