Power Generation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Power Generation Specialist to join our team at PacifiCorp. As a Power Generation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining knowledge of power generation systems and technologies.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of five years of experience in industrial power systems or electric utility power systems. You will analyze outage data, asset maintenance history, and other relevant information to identify project locations and prioritize work across portfolios.

The estimated salary for this position is $100,700-$118,400 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled engineer who can deliver complex engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power generation systems and technologies and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of power generation systems and technologies.
  • Analyze outage data and asset maintenance history to identify project locations and prioritize work.
  • Support data analysis by providing engineering and operational insight into outage and asset information.
  • Develop complex engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.
