Server Decommissioning Technician

Volt is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our team in a cutting-edge data center.
As a Data Center Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data center by assisting with the decommissioning of computer servers, networking devices, and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the removal of hard drives from servers and disconnecting all cables
- Remove servers from racks and organize equipment on pallets for shipping
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and safe decommissioning processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Familiarity with computer hardware, including hard drives and Ethernet cables
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
