Role Overview
The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for delivering safe and efficient patient care, adhering to established standards and utilizing the nursing process within the Registered Nursing scope of practice.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting within an acute care hospital.
Education/Certification:
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required unless waived by the nursing executive council.
Graduation from an accredited nursing program is mandatory, with approved accrediting bodies including ACEN and CCNE.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California is essential.
Additionally, a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) and ACLS certification are required.
