Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a US Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the examination process.
  • Operate sonographic equipment to capture accurate images and identify areas of concern.
  • Prepare exam rooms and assist radiologists with ultrasound procedures and biopsies.
  • Report any abnormalities or concerns to medical staff and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Conduct scan tests, write reports, and maintain sonography equipment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist.
  • BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
