Psychotherapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist to join our team at Helping Hands Psychotherapy. As a Psychotherapist, you will provide individual and group psychotherapy to clients, specializing in maternal mental health and trauma.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group psychotherapy to clients
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment strategies
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments

Requirements:

• NYS License as LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, PMH-C preferred
• Experience providing psychotherapy, particularly in maternal mental health and trauma
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
