**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at the State of Michigan. As a Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of meals for prisoners and staff in a correctional facility.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Function as a lead worker and oversee prisoner workers in the kitchen
* Prepare and cook meats, vegetables, and casserole dishes for general or modified diet menus
* Prepare salads, desserts, and beverages
* Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
