In this role, you will be responsible for leading efforts to develop, integrate, and demonstrate capabilities for an end-to-end satellite operations ground system with the capability to fly dynamic space operations missions, leveraging a commercial cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the operations of satellite ground systems and applications, ensuring efficient and continuous performance.
- Develop and refine system requirements, design specifications, and operational procedures.
- Optimize satellite systems and applications to achieve mission objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of satellite systems.
- Lead initiatives to enhance satellite operations processes, improve system reliability, and integrate new technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Active DoD Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in satellite operations, systems engineering, or a related field, with a focus on satellite or space systems.
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Active DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility.
- Relevant certifications in satellite operations or systems engineering.
