Marketing Intern Product Strategy

Ameritas is seeking a talented Marketing Intern to support the marketing strategy team in driving business growth. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing tools, management systems, and advertising assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Marketing Strategists to develop and execute marketing strategies to accelerate sales and cultivate advocates for insurance, investments, and retirement plans.
  • Assist in the development of marketing assets, including email, social media, digital, and print collateral, and other media for product launches and product enhancement rollouts.
  • Learn to navigate, set up, and track marketing projects to completion using the enterprise-wide work management system, Workfront.
  • Enhance and increase meaningful touchpoints on marketing and communication needs, including strategy, design, and execution.
  • Help drive multi-channel marketing strategies and initiatives to drive new sales and retain current customers while leveraging marketing data and analysis.
  • Assist with promotion, tracking, and measurement of marketing tactics.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a college program, preferably pursuing a marketing, communication, or advertising degree.
  • Able to fulfill a year-round commitment part-time during the academic school year and full-time during the summer.
  • Strong writing and excellent proofreading skills.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF.
  • Strong work ethic, high work speed and capacity, resilience, positive attitude, and adaptability to unplanned requests and changes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, eagerness to learn new systems and processes, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and ability to work autonomously, responsibly, and take ownership of projects.
