Library Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Library Assistant at Cisneros Prekindergarten School. The successful candidate will provide support to our library staff and help maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment for students and staff.

• Assist with daily library operations, including shelving books and materials, and maintaining a clean and organized library space.
• Support the library staff with tasks such as cataloging, processing, and preparing materials for circulation.
• Help students and staff with research and other library-related tasks.
• Assist with special events and programs in the library, such as author visits and book clubs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to receive an Educational Aide Certificate from the State Board of Educator Certification.
• Some experience working with children and in customer service.
