About the Role

We are seeking a Healthcare Administrative Lead to join our team and provide high-quality care to residents and patients across various settings. This is a full-time, clinical physician lead role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing complex and geriatric care to residents and patients, working closely with non-physician practitioners and other interprofessional team members. You will also be expected to collaborate with facility leadership teams, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, patients, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Leadership:
  • Provides high-quality complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across settings in partnership with non-physician practitioner and other interprofessional team members.
  • Develops and implements effective care plans, working closely with healthcare professionals.
  • Maintains high engagement with facility leadership teams, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, patients, and families.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Audits medical orders and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participates in company-wide initiatives to improve quality outcomes and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics; qualification in Geriatrics preferred.
  • Practicing physician currently licensed under the provisions of the State Board of Medicine.
  • Active unrestricted licensure to practice in state of employment.
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
