Position Overview

As a Supportive Living Assistant at Goodworks Unlimited, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential tasks aimed at ensuring the comfort and well-being of those in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist residents with their daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  2. Foster social interactions among residents to promote a sense of community.
  3. Engage in the activity program by conducting planned activities under the guidance of the Activity Director or supervisor.
  4. Monitor and ensure the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents.
  5. Document residents' functional status and any relevant information in the designated records.
  6. Provide attentive support and supervision to residents.
  7. Maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents.
  8. Report any changes in residents' conditions to the Director of Nursing or the on-duty nurse.
  9. Keep accurate records of residents' meal intake, bathing, and other personal care activities.
  10. Assist residents with their personal laundry needs.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  12. Participate in monthly staff meetings and stay informed by reviewing all relevant resident information in communication logs and progress notes.
  13. Completion of a background check and drug screening is required.
