Job Title: Lead Substation Protection and Control Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Substation Protection and Control Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Power Delivery Services Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing substation protection and control design projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage substation protection and control design projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement substation protection and control design solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and designers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in substation protection and control design.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in substation protection and control design.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of substation protection and control design principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
