Key Responsibilities

- Champion company health and wellness programs
- Adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and internal policies
- Assist pharmacists with various tasks, excluding those requiring professional judgment
- Deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently managing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
- Operate the cash register according to company policies, ensuring accurate handling of transactions, including electronic payments and cash
- Follow guidelines for accepting vendor coupons and managing cash shortages
- Respond to phone inquiries and triage calls appropriately
- Execute billing procedures to maximize value for both customers and the company
- Accurately measure and prepare products following best practices
- Organize and manage incoming orders, including Central Fill deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in workstations and customer areas
- Manage computerized inventory systems for medications, devices, and supplies
- Perform ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations, reporting any unsafe conditions
- Uphold local, state, and federal regulations, reporting any illegal activities
- Capable of fulfilling essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Meet state requirements for the role
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a pharmacy clerk or in a similar role
- Familiarity with EPRN systems
