About the Role

Santé Center for Healing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities, grounds, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent problems.
  • Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including HVAC systems, generators, and other machinery.
  • Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, pruning, and planting.
  • Perform basic mathematical functions to calculate materials and labor costs.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using safety concepts, equipment, and proper body mechanics to perform duties.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of related experience in maintenance and landscaping.
  • EPA and HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to safely operate a motorized vehicle.
  • Ability to walk up to 500 feet, walk up hills, and over irregular terrain.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and climb a ladder.
  • Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and perform basic mathematical functions.
  • Ability to safely handle and operate various hand and power tools.
