Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in our 24-bed PICU. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill children, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- At least 2 years of experience as a pediatric intensive care nurse, preferably in a Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Current registration or eligibility for Delaware State Board of Nursing licensure.
- CPR certification by the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification preferred.
- CCRN certification preferred.
