Advanced Practice Nurse for High-Acuity Care

The Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team in a high-acuity care setting. As a valued member of our medical staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of specialty-based populations and provide advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions.
**Salary:** $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
**Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Advanced Practice Nurse who can deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advanced nursing care to patients with complex acute, critical, and chronic health conditions.
- Practicing with a variety of specialty-based populations, including neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
- Participating in quality monitoring through the review of records and treatment plans for patient outcomes on a bi-annual basis to assure quality care and per ORC requirements.
- Maintaining a Standard Care Arrangement with collaborating physicians and adhering to relevant state laws and organizational medical staff privileges.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing, preferably from an accredited institution.
- Licensure as an RN in the State of Ohio and national certification as a nurse practitioner by a nationally accredited organization.
- A current certificate of authority and certificate to prescribe (or eligible) by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database use, as well as other computer software programs for data analysis and presentations.
