Radiology Imaging Specialist

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Radiology X Ray Technologist to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide top-notch imaging services to our patients. As a Radiology X Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy, to help diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Review patient history and physician orders to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed, while monitoring patient condition and responding to any changes.
- Implement techniques to yield clarity in images, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in radiology.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R). Specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for position. State licensure if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
- Minimum Experience: None Required.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
