Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, utilizing advanced equipment and computer systems. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating and reporting patient results, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, utilizing advanced equipment and computer systems.
  • Evaluate and report patient results, utilizing considerable independent judgment within established testing methods.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and instrumentation, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
  • Train new employees and/or students in the theoretical and operational aspects of procedures, serving as a resource for less experienced staff.
Requirements
  • 2 Years Clinical - Clinical Laboratory - Moderate and High Complexity Testing Required - Or Equivalent Education Requirement
  • Bachelor's Degree Clinical Laboratory Science Or Medical Technology Required - Or Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology Or Bachelor's Degree Related Field Required - With Required Licensure/Certification - And With Equivalent Experience
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology Or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification Required - Or Equivalent Education Requirement
Work Schedule

Wednesday to Tuesday, 9pm to 7am (7 on/7 off)

Additional Information

Please note that this position requires as-needed weekend and call responsibilities.
