Cybersecurity Threat Analyst

Overview:
Powder River Industries, LLC is seeking a Cyber Defense Analyst who will play a pivotal role in fortifying our digital landscape. This position focuses on developing a robust framework for digital resilience, enabling the organization to proactively manage and recover from cybersecurity challenges while ensuring the protection of our assets, personnel, and clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directs and implements strategies for cyber incident response.
• Acts as the primary liaison during cybersecurity events.
• Oversees the complete lifecycle of cybersecurity incident management.
• Delivers comprehensive reports following cybersecurity incidents.
• Evaluates incident data to assess impact, classification, and suitable response protocols.
• Collects, organizes, and preserves incident information for future reference.
• Provides advanced support for Cyber Command Center personnel.
• Conducts security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in security frameworks.
• Monitors and identifies potential threats and unusual activities.
• Performs real-time evaluations using a variety of security technologies to detect security incidents.

Essential Qualifications:

• 1 - 4 years of relevant experience.
• Successful completion of a background investigation.
• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Technical Proficiencies: Familiarity with Microsoft applications, ServiceNow, Defender, and other Cyber Defense tools.

Work Schedule:

• Shift 1: 6:30 PM – 4:30 AM ET (Sunday - Wednesday)
• Shift 2: 6:30 PM – 4:30 AM ET (Wednesday - Saturday)
• Shift 3: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM ET (Saturday - Tuesday)
