We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Pediatrics team at Boys Town National Research Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and education to children and families in our clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care to patients, prioritizing their needs and incorporating data from parents/guardians into the assessment process.
- Implement nursing care activities according to patient needs, or as directed by medical providers, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collect and document assessments related to patients' physical and developmental needs.
- Facilitate patient flow by continually assessing patient volume and acuity.
- Collect specimens and perform select lab tests, in accordance with established policy and procedures, to facilitate diagnosis.
- Provide patient care and education according to the patient population served.
- A registered nurse with a current state license and a minimum of one year of experience in pediatric ambulatory care.
- BLS certification required.
