Role Overview: The Safety and Security Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure and supportive environment for all employees and visitors. This position is integral to our operational safety and is responsible for identifying, preventing, and responding to potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain safety and establish a reassuring presence.
  • Understand and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor access points to the facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted entry.
  • Utilize surveillance systems to detect and respond to any suspicious activities.
  • Respond to emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with relevant authorities as necessary.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate records of daily activities and observations.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of safety and respect.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience in security or safety roles.

  • Proficiency in using surveillance and monitoring systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.
