  • Administer medications, treatments, and other medical interventions as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide education and support to residents and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, addressing residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition, ensuring timely interventions and minimizing the risk of adverse events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
  • Experience in long-term care or gerontology, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of older adults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current First Aid Certification and DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, with a negative TB test within the past six months.
