About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our team at US Foods, Inc.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a leading food distributor and contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, and other fleet vehicles
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure compliance with trucking regulations
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with company standards
  • Assist with road rescue and transport equipment as needed
Requirements
  • 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic experience or 2 years of experience with refrigeration certification
  • Demonstrated skills in diagnostic and troubleshooting competencies related to equipment repairs
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Computer and software experience
Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary: $26.00 per hour

$5,000 retention bonus for new hires
