Job Title: Kinesiology Supplemental Instructor Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Supplemental Instructor to support undergraduate students in our Kinesiology program. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the course material and be able to effectively communicate with students.

Responsibilities:

* Audit the assigned course and hold group study sessions
* Offer individual tutoring sessions to students
* Work with the course instructor to create a continuous understanding between class materials and study sessions
* Create supplemental study materials for exams and quizzes
* Log work hours successfully and promptly

Requirements:

* Completed Introduction to Physical Fitness and Sport (KINE1301), Motor Development (KINE3302), or Exercise Physiology (KINE3305) or equivalent
* Earned an 80 or better in the course
* Enrolled at Sul Ross State University and in good standing

Preferred Qualifications:

* Working toward a B.S. in Kinesiology with substantial training and interest in the science and application of kinesiology concepts
* Experience in time management and prioritization of tasks
* Self-motivated worker
* Demonstrated ability to work successfully on a team
* Ability to motivate and encourage students to improve their academic performance

Working Conditions:

* This position is part of the Title III STEM Lobotrack to Success (LTS) Supplemental Instructor Program
* The Supplemental Instructor will be responsible for the personal safety and the safety of others
