Job Summary:
The Staff Nurse II will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic and individualized care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, coordinate, and deliver nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in nursing.
- RN-Registered Nurse licensure for the state where care is provided.
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- 2 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health theories, concepts, and practices.
- Working knowledge of healthcare industry policies, best practices, and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Schedule:
Evenings, Part-time, 32 hours per week, Every other Weekend.
Benefits:
Yes, Union, Non-Exempt.
Pay Range:
$77.30 to $104.61 per hour.
